* These products include lift ticket, lessons, lunch, snack, helmet and full supervision from the time they are dropped off until picked up by authorized adult.
Chipmunk Corner is a full service, on-site children's complex complete with ski and snow play areas. In the 2008/2009 season, a conveyor lift was installed to better aid our younger snow enthusiasts. This lift replaced our rope tow. The building facility offers its own ticketing, rentals, lunchroom, playroom and restrooms. Children's instructors receive special training designed specially for your youngsters.
Nursery & Daycare
We offer nursery and daycare services for children ages 3 months to 3 years old. Only full day packages are sold during holidays. Snacks and lunch are provided; children are separated by age.
Snowplay
Snowplay is a fun introduction to the skiing environment for Ages 3 & 4. Indoor and outdoor play with games and activities. Movie at lunch. On slow days, snowplay may be held in conjunction with daycare. Space limited, so please call in advance. (Non-toilet trained 3 year olds please see Nursery & Daycare.) Only full day packages are sold during holidays.
Lil' Chips
Lil Chips is a great intro to skiing for Ages 3 & 4. This program runs in conjunction with Snowplay. Children are initially taken out to ski, but can go in and out of Snowplay as they wish. This is a tender age and we want them to have a gentle introduction so they will grow to love the sport of skiing.
Children's Lessons
We offer lessons for children ages 5 to 11 and have classes for all levels and abilities. All beginners are separated by age as follows 5/6 yrs, 7/8yrs, and 9 through 11 yrs. Children who are able to turn, control their speed and have ridden a chair lift, are tested on the Chipmunk Corner hill first before going any further on the mountain.
Snowboarding Ages 6 to 9
Taught in conjunction with our Burton Learn to Ride Center for our younger aged riders from beginners on up.
Children age 11, taking skiing lessons, may choose to attend either Chipmunk Corner or Snow Sports School. Children age 12 and older take ski lessons at the Snow Sports School. Children age 8 and 9, taking snowboarding lessons, may choose to attend either Chipmunk Corner or Snow Sports School. Children 10 and older, taking snowboard lessons go to the Snow Sports School.
