Pinheads unite!  This amazing telemark workshop is now in it's 27th year.  We hope you will come and join Tony Forrest and a host of other fantastic instructors to learn the latest in tele techniques.  New tele skiers are welcome, however, this workshop is not for someone who has never skied downhill (alpine or tele).

The first Santa Fe Fireball Rando Race will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2014.  Registration will occur 2-4pm on Feb 7th OR at 6:30am FEb 8th in the La Casa Cafeteria and the race will begin at 8:00am.    The race start is off site of the ski area at Aspen Vista.  You MUST park at the ski area and we will shuttle you to the start.  The shuttles will depart at 7:30am.  Restroom facilites will be available at the start line, but are limited so be sure to use the facilites at La Casa Lodge prior to boarding the shuttle. Mark your calendar, this one is going to be hot.

9th Annual Tessa's Ascension- An endurance ski event .  Reduced Pricing!  $15 Pre-Registration - $20 Day of,  Kids $10, $15 Day of! 
This is a fun endurance ski event; for the traditional short course, participants will use randonee or telemark gear with climbing skins to ascend from the Base Area (10,340'), to the top of the Quad Chair, (11,250') then descend through a GS course down Midland/Easy Street.  Snowboarders and alpine skiers with snowshoes are welsome.  Helmets are required and must be worn and buckled for downhill.  Average times are around 45 minutes.  Participants will be divided into categories and age groups.  Approximate start time 5pm.

Fun Event held on Slalom Slope for all ages.  Registration fee is $25.00 and will be held  in the La Casa Cafe near the Elevator, starting at 8:30am .   First 75 participants receive souvenir T-shirts.
