Ski Santa Fe is now open for the 2024/25 Season! Snowmaking operations have resumed on some Upper Mountain terrain, resulting in some terrain closures while we work. The only intermediate trail down from the top of the Tesuque Peak triple will be Sunset. Sunrise and Highline will be the intermediate route down from the top of the Millennium Chair. Gayway, Saddle, Middle Gayway, Ripcord, Cornice, South Burn, Upper Parachute and Riblet Road will be closed until further notice.

TERRAIN UPDATE: Ski Santa Fe is thrilled to be ope

TERRAIN UPDATE:
Ski Santa Fe is thrilled to be opening early for the first time since 2001! Early snowfall and great snowmaking conditions have allowed us to open 70 of our 90 trails across the mountain, 28 of those trails groomed. Please join us at 8:30 am for the dedication of the new Santa Fe Express High-Speed Quad. In addition to the Santa Fe Express, we will be spinning the Millennium and Tesuque Peak triple lifts, servicing the upper mountain. The Easy Street and Pine Flats lifts will be open to serve the beginners’ area.

Guests can expect early season conditions, with thin cover and unmarked obstacles possible. The mountain’s best coverage will be on Lobo, Alpine, Midland, Santa Fe Trail and Easy Street, which have seen a lot of extra love from our snowmaking crew. The terrain parks will remain closed until conditions allow us to set up and maintain freestyle features.

Open runs will include Crossover, Davey Lane, Easy Street, Lower Broadway, Midland, Pine Flats, Riblet Road, Santa Fe Trail, Sierra Cat, Spruce Catwalk, Thruway, Azmataz, Broadway, JC, Lower Gayway, Lower Midland, Lower Parachute, Lower Thunderbird, Open Slope, Spruce Bowl, Thunderbird, Upper Midland, Bozo, Bozo’s Glade, Dr. Rich, Free Fall, Lower Fall Line, Muerte, Pinball Alley, Slalom Slope, T Bird Glade, Upper Broadway, Upper Thunderbird, Alpine, Gayway, Highland, Little Alpine, Lobo, Lower Burro, Pope Snows, Saddle, Sunrise, Sunset, Sunset Trail, Avalanche Bowl, Burro Alley, Cody’s Glade, Columbine, Cornice, Coyote, Desperado, Double Eagle V, Fall Line, Highland Glade, Lower Wizard, Luge, Molly Hogan, North Burn, Pipeline, Richard’s Run, Ripcord, Ristra, Roadrunner, South Burn, Sunrise Glade, Tequila Sunrise Glade, Wizard, Big Rocks Glade and First Tracks Glade.

All facilities will be open. Totemoff’s Bar & Grill will be open to service our guests at mid-mountain. Join us at the Snow Sports School for ski or snowboard lessons. Chipmunk Corner Children’s Center will still be offering lessons. However, those lessons will take place at the Pine Flats beginner area. #skibueno

We heard you loud and clear! Since you asked so nicely, Ski Santa Fe will be opening early for 2024/2025 season!

With the blessing of these great conditions, our new opening date will be Saturday, November 23, a break from the traditional Thanksgiving Day openings of the past.

Guests will be able to take a ride on the new Santa Fe Express High-Speed Quad, which will be spinning for Opening Day. We are making all efforts to open all lifts, including Upper Mountain lifts, on opening day. Full terrain openings will be announced on Wednesday November 20th. #skibueno

Ski Santa Fe Hiring Fair will be held on Friday, November 8th from 12 – 6pm and Saturday, November 9 from 9am – 12pm at Ski Santa Fe. Please plan on attending if you would like to work at Ski Santa Fe this winter. If you are unable to attend, please email employment@skisantafe.com with a resume and the positions you are interested in.
